So, our thoughts dictate our lives and can overtake if we are not careful.
Who Am I
Gina has 30+ years of life experiences, good and bad, from the trauma she endured. The aftereffects of trauma are real, very real. Neuroscience and neurobiology have come a long way with how trauma does negatively impact the mind and body.

My aftereffects; feeling empty, unloved, pain, loneliness, guilt, shame, negative, impulsive behaviors, used, cognitive setbacks, felt awkward, extremely shy, trouble with friendships, losing my sense of self, explosive outbursts and body image issues. Unbeknownst to her, this was what the aftereffects of trauma would look like. If she walked around feeling this way, how many others were suffering too. Unaware of the root cause. Suffering in silence. Being mislabeled, misinformed, misdiagnosed.

In 2021, 42 years after the onset of trauma, Gina's eyes were finally opened to the harsh reality of what trauma did to her. In those moments, she knew finding a trauma program would be the answer. But little did she realize, something bigger and better was unfolding.

Gina didn't grow up in church. A little 5 year old asked Gina to come to church and she accepted. She tried church off and on for about 10 years or so with nothing. She struggled with seeking a relationship with God, getting close to a male figure and being intimate with him. Reminded her too much of her own trauma. Which unfortunately some Pastors didn't understand or take her seriously. 12 years later, God used the same girl to bring them back to church, where He prophesied to Gina.
God seen everything. God heard everything. God knew everything. God was there. God was writing her testimony. A testimony that would be an example of strength and bravery. A testimony of light and darkness. A testimony of how Gina's journey could impact others to want to have a relationship with Jesus and be saved not only physically but spiritually.

Gina went on to study trauma more in depth to make sense of her own aftereffects. By doing so, she learned more about childhood trauma, and the way it impacts the mind, body and soul. She was finally able to understand what living as a trauma survivor meant.

Through those experiences, she is able to offer patience, understanding, kindness, compassion, empathy, safety and professionalism in a non-judgmental space. She wants YOU to be your authentic self.
